Anyone have audio from Sunday morning, Oct 19, west of Mississippi?
I just discovered this site today and have enjoyed listening to the audio posts.
I worked Richard Garriott on the ISS this past Sunday morning, at about 1532 UTC, while the station was over Western Canada.
I didn't think to set up something to record the QSO. Just wondering whether anyone might have audio from around that time. My QSO
was sandwiched between two VE7s, I think.
Thanks in advance for any help!

When will W5KWQ depart?
Does anyone know when Richard, W5KWQ is scheduled to depart?
anyone have this recording?
Hi Everyone,
After trying over and over again over the years I have finally made my first contact with the ISS. It was sort of early in the morning here in Ottawa about 8:45 local or 12:45 UTC. Richard came back with my call, and I said a few excited words back. Wow, what a thrill! I'd like to know if anyone has a recording of that pass - I tried N0HIO's recording but it didn't have my contact. For those who heard the pass, I was a bit after the Navel Academy contact. Thanks to everyone involved for this amazing opportunity.

Request for Richard Garriott
Hi all
Thanks to Richard for inceasing the frequency of images being sent using SSTV.
I have a request for a picture if someone can pass it on to Richard. How about a picture of the moon from the ISS? We are always seeing shots of the earth but I wonder what the stars look like from space and also perhaps what the moon looks like from the space station.

Is it possible to work the ISS mobile?
Hello all,
Basically, my question is this: Do I stand a hope in hell without a directional antenna? Has anyone managed to work the ISS with a similar configuration?
Due to housing restrictions I cannot put up any antennas at home.
I can only work HF/VHF/UHF whilest mobile, which is at least better than nothing.
I have tried to make a few contacts with the ISS, especially recently as Richard is up there - I assume he'll chat on there more than the other crew, as he probably doesn't have such a scheduled day.
I try to work it by driving out to a wide open space, and lowering my omni-directional antenna to a horizontal position. (It's a 6/2/70 mobile antenna).
NA1SS Qsl Card.
I made contact with the ISS this morning. How do I go about getting a QSL card? Will they just send me one? Or do I need to send them one first?
