SSTV images?
When we receive images from ISS are they "real time"? What I wonder is if the SSTV images that I captured yesterday are live shots...could I see the Great Lakes of MI if it wasn't cloudy in the pictures?
Thanks and 73

How often does the ISS respond?
Hi all, I'm new here and have been listening for the ISS for a couple of months now. I've only heard it once at about 0630 and that brings up a question. Do the astronauts have a schedule based on UTC, so if they come over NJ where I am at 2100 (0200 UTC) are they all fast asleep since it's 2:00 AM in their "day"? I'm having problems with the idea that after listening for them for days at a time, at the pass times from Heavens-Above.com, that I would *never* hear anything. Is there a carrier freq or some way to know that the transmitter is on? Any suggestions to improve my chances or maybe just tell me I'm not alone in not hearing much from above will help.

Pass Timing
Hello,
I am new to the club. Can someone tell me if the times of the passes calculated for a specific area (under "Tracking") which are listed in 24 HR format are based on local time - i.e. PST - or are they in GMT?
Thanks for the coaching!
