I asked Richard to send more photos from inside the ISS and photos of the crew.
I think this will be more interesting to ham community.
Nice to have NOAA style photos!!
But seeing faces or ISS instruments are more interesting- IMHO.
My special request is a photo of Richard holding the mike at ISS shack .

Was curious if you have a SSTV image that you captured,can you use that for a QSO to get a qsl card.Thw image would have the time stamp on it also who would you send it to? Thanks in advance and pordon my ignorance .

Nice to hear Richard Garriott use call sign NA1SS and answer questions from pupils.Signal was in the clear on 2m at 145.803 bit of a first for me and there was a great television stream put out by BATC.Good 40th anniversary for school and of the first Apollo orbit of the moon in 1968.ATB Antares6fe

I have setup Packet Engine Pro and UIview with an Icom 7000.

Could someone please advise the correct UIview:

1. steps required to connect to ISS, and,
2. settings to act as a Satgate?

So.......I'm confused. Since Richard is doing both voice and SSTV is the radio being used on 144.490 up,and 145.800 down for voice,and using SSTV on 145.800 for simplex up/downlink?

Hi all

I note that Richard Garriott has been received on 145.800 recently. Is he using the 144.490 uplink frequency or is he using 145.800 for uplink as well?

If you work ISS and you are looking for a recording, let me know. I plan to record as much audio as I can. I live in SW Michigan, so as long as the ISS is above my horizon when you work them, I should have it.

It's not always the best quality..but I share what I have.
