Old ISS recording
G'day,
I was going over some old discs and came across this
audio of some of my packet and some voice attempting contact with the ISS, the voice appears to be female and there are two recordings, I am assuming from from two different passes. The voice also appears to be in Slavic or Russian and I remember this being a bit unexpected at the time, as I live in Australia. These recordings were made in 2004.
The recordings are at the following URL.

I am not sure about how to post a URL here, please copy and paste it, I experimented and the preview didn't work to my expectations.

Hi ISS Fan Club members,
I like to asking you all, can or not if we request to ISS crews to tune their radio up there to our VHF Local repeater? I think it is very nice to talk with ISS crews with local VHF Repeater.
If can, to whom should we apply this contacts?

ISS SSTV dates ?
How often does the ISS go to SSTV mode?
I mean its fun to do the APRS thing ..
But would really love to see more of an SSTV schedule.
How much advance warning do we usually get for a sstv transmission?
And is this site the best place to find out they are going to that mode??
Thanks

Shuttle frequencies
Hi, first post on here.
Could anyone help me out with any shuttle frequencies that are worth programming into my base station ?
Thanks.
Dave.
PS I often listen in to the ISS contacts as it passes over my location in the UK and sometimes over Europe.

Can anyone identify the ISS crew member in this audio.
Hi folks,
yesterday I recorded some audio on 145.800 MHz,
I am in Victoria and the ISS was over WA/NT, so it is a bit scratchy and fades in and out a bit.
I don't know how to clean up audio files,
so, the original wave file is online.

ISS Packet over Europe
I am quite new to this, and only received the ISS on 145.825 on a couple of nights a couple of days ago. The last couple of nights I have heard nothing.
When I look at the "Amateur Radio Stations head via ISS" I see that there has been activity, and today there have been reports of receiving the message "ARISS - International Space Station (BBS/APRS on)". But again no reports in the last few hours, and no stations from Europe reported heard.
Is the packet station being turned off during times when the ISS is over Europe, and if so does anyone know why?
