Dear friends,
My name is Cezar Lesanu YO8TLC, coordinator of Atlantykron Summer Academy Hamradio workshop - special callsign YP0IP - "stone ring" island Danube River Romania KN44AL.
Need an advice adout the possibility to call the NA1SS after the sceduled school contact on 5 august 2009 (telebridged via ON4ISS).
It is a good practice to try to contact ISS after the end of the school contact or not?
MNI THANKS!

Castor Pollux BEVO-1 and Aggiesat-2 TLE data?
I have been hearing, on 145.825, what sounds like the tail end of a packet pass while setting up for a ISS pass. I suspect this is probably Castor and Pollux but have been unable to find ephemeris data to calculate their passes. Does anyone know where or when TLE data will be posted?

SSTV Aug 3 & 4
Another round of MAI-75 experiments are planned for Aug 3 and 4. The VC-H1 unit in auto mode (Robot-36 and transmitting once every 3 minutes) should be operational on 145.800 MHz from approximately 0800-1600 UTC each day. Information on the MAI-75 experiment is available at http://www.energia.ru/eng/iss/researches/education-26.html and updates at http://ariss-sstv.blogspot.com/

Can anyone recommend a better way for me to see the ISS flyovers? I have a compass and binoculars. I am loving the search and any information would be greatly appreciated.
