From 2 days ago i can not see the ISS picture moving around the world.
Does anybody can confirm this, or if something wrong in my computer?

TWISST the ISS on Twitter

Because the ISS can be viewed very clearly in June/July with the naked eye, a Dutch journalist and a Dutch astronomer have started a service on twitter to let people know when the ISS passes over their location.

is 145.800 an IARU "illegal" frequency?

When voice downlink is set for 145.800, theoretically falls within the IARU border for amateur space communications. But since the IARU bandplan has right underneath the amateur space band on 145,800-146,000 the Region 1 Repeater 12.5 KHz slots (R0 - R7B) with the latter falling on 145,787.5, when ISS sets and doppler draws the transmission frequency maximum 12 KHz down, (due to enormous relative to observers speeds ISS excibits, a result of a lower than average spacecrafts orbit)

mutual interference with the repeaters is assured.

Let me ask for a downlink frequency change, then. Maybe the packet frequency at 145.825 is best suited for voice downlinks, too.

New to the club

I am new to the club and enjoy trying to contact the Iss. I operate a Yaesu 857 d and have
a 2m/440 yagi that I want to use handheld. Just wondering if anybody can give me some
constuctive tips on how to get started. I am limited to my equipment.

Getting Started

Hello to everyone on the iss fan club. My name is Lee (WØHSN) Greenfield,Mo. I am using a
Yaesu ft-857d on 2 meters to copy the iss. I have an old 2m/440 yagi that is in good shape and
am going to put it on a tripod . Just wondered if anybody could give me some constructive hints
on how to prepare for a voice contact with iss. Thanks
