Recorded ISS Audio Archives Available

I realize it's not ham specific, but if you want to hear the archived ISS / Mission Control audio, it's being archived at http://issaudio.project10.net

Files are recorded using VOX, and are timestamped in Eastern Time (ET).

Never look at the newest file, that's just a placeholder for the current hour. Live audio is still available at NASA, but if you miss something or want to go back and look for specific events, use the NASA timelines and convert to ET (-5 right now) and you can pull it up!

RS0ISS-3 digi for pkt contact?

Hi!
are many years that I'm not in radio, and I have started my space activity with I.S.S. from few weeks.
I have a question; Is usual in packet mode contact another amateur radio pms via RS0ISS-3 digipeater? I remember that this was possible with the MIR, but now i think is different, I see the port 3 used by APRS.
This my question is just to know the rules on the use of PMS.

Tnx and 73s de Enzo IW0FKO

new iss antennas?

Regarding some announcements on the addition of new antennas , etc on the ISS....

Hate to show my ignorance, but what was the signifigance of installing those new antennas in a different module? was there something wrong with the old set up and or did they plan to have 2 rigs going at same time, or perhaps decom a module?

thanks

ISS STS129 Undocked photo

This photo showing the ISS along with STS 129 was taking from Sacramento California just after they had undocked. I believe the first trail is the ISS followed by STS-129 just about 10 degrees apart. Just to give you an Idea of how bright they are (magnitude) the brightest object above and just to the left of the tree is Jupiter Shot with NIKON D70s at 2009-11-25
