Next Mission to ISS: Soyuz TMA-1 Taxi Mission

ISS News

The Soyuz TMA-1 spacecraft became the next Soyuz (5th) to fly to the ISS. It was scheduled to replace the Soyuz TM-34, which arrived to the Station in April 2002.
The onboard resources and properties of propellant loaded in the reentry capsule of the Soyuz limit safe operation of the craft in space by six months.

The STS-112 crewmembers said goodbye to the Expedition Five crew and began their trip home. Space Shuttle Atlantis undocked from the International Space Station yesterday at 8:13 a.m. CDT (1313 GMT).

No Transmissions from ISS

Since 1 day and 10 houres we haven't received any packet frames from ISS. I monitored only on 145.825 MHz but several message from around the world are saying silence on 145.800 MHz too. Probably due to the undocking operation Valery commanded off the amateur radio equipment for a while.

ESA on 'Soyuz rocket fails on launch from Plesetsk cosmodrome'

A Russian Soyuz launcher exploded some 20 seconds after lift-off from the Russian Plesetsk cosmodrome last night (15 October) at 20:20 CEST (Central European Summer Time).
