PMS Busy, Crew needs to log off
Miles Mann: '......If a crew member logs into the PMS from the serial port via a LapTop computer, the radio port will get a BUSY message until the Serial port computer logs off.....'

RS 12/13 Satellite Silent
The Russian RS 12/13 satellite, long a popular "easysat" because of it's downlinks on 10 and 2 meters and uplinks on 2 and 15 meters, is off the air and unofficial reports say it may be dead.

Packet System actived again
ISS Packet system is again active after Valery checked TNC. In a pass over USA 27 minutes ago digipeater was ON and several stations passed through as shown on www.ariss.net site.
Valery said he will check PMS
Just received a message from Miles about his QSO with Valery Korzun at 19:45 UTC this evening.
Check the indicator on the top right of this page to see when Packet system will return active.

ISS Status Report - Oct. 25, 2002
Having bid farewell to a visiting space shuttle crew last week, the Expedition 5 crewmembers began preparing for the arrival of the next two groups of visitors to the International Space Station, the Soyuz 5 taxi crew and the STS-113 space shuttle crew.

ISS RETURN VEHICLE SOYUZ
The arrival to the International Space Station (ISS) of a modernized Russian Soyuz crew return vehicle will be covered live on NASA Television Oct. 31-Nov. 1. The undocking of the currently attached crew-return vehicle will be carried live on Nov. 9.
