Suni's 33rd contact
The contact on June 8 marked the 33rd school contact for Sunita Williams. That is just four shy of the record set by Bill McArthur during Exp 12. This is expected to be Suni's last contact before returning to Earth on STS-117.

SUITSAT QSL CARD UPDATE
I sent another message to AMSAT about the qsl for suitsat. Here is the latest reply dated 5-24-2007
Hello Terry,
The SuitSat certificates are being printed by Goddard Space Flight Center, and should be done within a week. I apologize for the delay. The volunteer who was in charge of this project had a job change at NASA, and became incredibly busy during the past 8 months. It should be like a DXpedition QSL card, I think -- well worth the wait.

ISS amateur radio status report
ISS amateur radio status report
Some short-term reconfigurations to the Kenwood radio, located onboard the International Space Station, were attempted yesterday, with limited success.
The preset channels that are used for many of the day to day operations are still inaccessible. The good news is that a few of the more commonly used configurations were able to be stored in the radio.
One of the modes that was able to be partially restored was the packet system but the operations will be on 145.825 simplex. General voice communication as well as configurations to support school contacts were also saved.

ISS school contact 5/21/07
I was going to make the file available here but it's over the 2meg limit, about 2.4 meg. You can hear or download it from my website: www.kg6pom.org/iss52107sj.mp3
This is just the ISS audio, and I didn't get the entire pass but most of it.
Enjoy
