Back form a Tour of KSC
I just got back from a week trip to Palm Bay Florida and while there we went to the Kennedy Space Center and took a tour.
Anyone that gets the chance take this tour!!! What a great time we had. Got to go on a shuttle launch sim. Watch alot of films on the space shuttles and the I.S.S. some even in 3d. Toured the place where they are making modules for the I.S.S. to be delivered. Got a few good pics of the shuttle and both launch pads. My son got a collectors coil of Apollo 11. I also took pics Buzz Aldrin, Alan Sheaperd, Neil Armstrong and all crew members of Apollo 1. Took pics of the mars land rover and one of the Apollo rockets.

Best equipment
Hello and congratulations what a great and informative website.
I will like to know what are some good suggestions for antenna and radios to try to contact the ISS either voice or packet.

ISS Shuttle sighting west coast USA
Perfect sighting at 22:36 local of ISS Chasing shuttle. Web tracking times are about 10 minutes early on this site so start your observing at the shown time but plan on it not being seen for up to 10 minutes later. Have your video and cameras at the ready as the next passes prior to landing are going to be sharp!!!

Station attitude control overwhelmed?
Hey all,
I had a curious thought given the news this week of Russian computer failures and NASA's inability to fully control the station's attitude using only their control momentum gyroscopes. There seems to be some well-versed ISS fans here, so maybe someone knows the answer!
So, with the Russian attitude control thrusters offline earlier in the week due to the computer failure, it was reported that NASA's control momentum gyroscopes are fully saturated and cannot keep up with the massive angular momentum of the current station. As a result, Russian thrusters are required to maintain proper attitude, kicking in whenever NASA's gyros reach capacity. (For the time being, the Space Shuttle's thrusters took over that job giving Russia time to work out their computer glitches.)
Reception of Shuttle/ISS Audio From Geostationary Satellite
Being a bit "ignorant" of the details regarding my question, I thought that I
would post it here, and hope that someone might be able to answer, or help
me out with this!
Is it possible to use a Satellite TV-type dish to receive unscrambled Shuttle/ISS
audio from any geostationary satellites?
Also, does anyone have the locations of said geostationary satellites used for
Shuttle/ISS audio purposes?
Thanks in advance!

Internet connections?
Does anybody know if the crew has internet up there? If so, how's their connection speed.
