Hi,

About 30 minutes after a sunset, I was ready to watch a predicted pass of the ISS. The sky was still blueish and I'm pretty sure I saw the ISS passing not bright at all. First, it appeared as predicted, flaring for a second and then it became just black. It was like a black dot flying at the same speed that I'm used to see for the ISS. I have very good eyes and I'm pretty sure it was not an airplane.

Can somebody tell me if it's possible to see the ISS as a black dot when the sky is still blue after sunset?

A Russian spacecraft supplying six astronauts aboard the International Space Station failed to reach orbit on Wednesday and burned up in the atmosphere, its debris crashing in Siberia, Interfax news reported.

LU 5DFO saw again the ISS over La Plata city, before sunrise,sat 2011-08-20 from W to SSE, from 10.05 to 10.08 ours UTC, 30 degree elevation, altitude 406 Km, speed 7663 m/s,minimum distance 812 Km, mag -2.3, not signals packet, with clear sky.

SpaceX's next mission is to the International Space Station.

The Hawthorne, Calif.-based private rocket maker said Monday its Dragon capsule will launch on Nov. 30 on a cargo test run to the orbiting outpost. SpaceX said the launch will be followed by a station docking more than a week later.

Au passage suivant du satellite en visibilité , la batterie donnait des signes de faiblesse ................ De profundis !
Ce n'est pas grave car Radioskaf-B n'est qu'un gadget sans grande application Radio Amateur , seulement bon pour " public relation "

I have noticed over the last couple of days that the signals from ARISSat-1 have become very poor and hardly discernible. Is there a reason for this. I'm afraid I can only listen in with my scanner and an external discone ariel which has always given me good results with the ISS.

I have visited the TSNIIMASH website recently, and discovered that the ET Shadow project has been upgraded along with the rest of the TSNIIMASH website. It did appear to be in the doldrums for a while. It has a new look as well.

All participants that have previously registered may need to re-register, I saw a list with one individual on it, so I re-registered, now there are two.

I don't know if they plan to add previous registrants or require those still interested to come back and voice their interest by continuing their registration.
