Can anyone tell me if the Kenwood in the service module is still operating the digipeater on 145.825 or is it going to be turned off indefinitely

request - recording of ISS contact on 11/1/11

Hi, I saw a recording posted for Mike Fossum's school and ham contacts on 11/1 (11/01/2011 20:05 UTC Mike Fossum School Contact and General Contacts with Ground Stations); curious if anyone caught the eastern US contacts that same day, after the posted recording ended.? I heard him talk to Maryland and Vancouver, (as well as me in New Hampshire).

Thank you in advance,
Mike

Wow - finally got a contact!!

Incredible experience; driving home from work I heard them on the downlink frequency, so I listened to get the rhythm of exchanges. After a minute of nervous waiting and hearing contacts made to Maryland and Vancouver, I threw the call out a few times (from New Hampshire) and he came right back. It was so cool and I can't believe I was able to do this mobile with a whip antenna on the trunk. Great experience. Wish I could have recorded it.
