Packet monitoring

This is a question for those of you monitoring to the packet transmissions.

I have heard some packet transmissions on the 145.825 Mhz on some recent passes over Arizona. Should I just dust off my old TNC or is their some good software that will do the job? I have access to Windows XP and OS X in the shack.

Thanks and 73,

Wanting to know the 2meter freqs. for the ISS & can it be done w/voice

I have only had my callsign ticket for five years and still consider myself a virgin in ham radio. It has always been a dream of mine to talk to a fellow ham on the ISS. I am finding this difficult to do however because of the fact that no one can give me a strait answer as to what the freqs. are. If anyone has such knowledge I would be very, very greatful if they would share it. Again, thank you in advance. Ed Lantz KE5FXS.

Please Turn ON the Transponder

I come from the HOPE-1/HO 68 Web site : I read all ON/OFF date/time for the transponder operation Wonderful !! . Why it is not possible for the ISS AMSAT Station . The ISS AMSAT Station is used mainly for ARISS/public relation purpose ( and some time personnal purpose ) . It is a Ham equipement payed by ham subscription and NASA/ESA/AMSAT agreement . In the minimum after programing the stuff ..... Transponder mode is automatc ! If SOME TROUBLE IN THE EQUIPMENT TELL US ! Best 73 for all . Bernard FY1LE
