Now, I know I am at a credibility risk by even asking this, but can anyone explain (rationally) why I received (mostly uncopyable) ISS SlowScan earlier this evening while ISS was over Mongolia? (145.825)

Also have heard ISS APRS traffic on 2 separate occasions while ISS was over Indonesia.

Now, I am a believer that there is a rational explanation of unexplained anomalies (as a retired NASA-KSC Systems Eng'r where we plenty of THEM), but this one leaves me cold.

Ducting?? Someone goofing around or running a few KW from a ground station?? Little green E-T's? :-)

I made my first contact with COL Doug Sunday 11-14-2010 17.58 UTC. I've only been a ham for 8 months. It's gets more exciting every day. I am still unable to find the recordings that you can play back. KJ4THQ I also made a second contact on 11-16-10 @ 4:02pm CDT. I used a YAESU FT 2900 mobile and a Cushcraft 13B2 antenne.
