We have received an audio file about a contact between Valery and our member Jimmy Herrera, XE2MZS on November 13 at 06:03 UTC.

ANDE stands for Atmospheric Neutral Drag Experiment and is a 19" sphere with optical corner reflectors for precise orbit determination. The Naval Academy is building the Telemetry and command/communications payload for ANDE similar to what it is flying on the PCsat mission as both a means to transmit spacecraft Telemetry to the ground and to augment the interest of students worldwide by letting them capture telemetry and communicate via the satellite.
It has no solar power, so when the 7000 Watt Hours of batteries (112 Lithiums) die then it too will die (+- 700 days)

During last night I have seen two times a problem into the PMS System. I sent an e- mail message to Miles about it and I am trying several command to solve the situation when it will occur.
This night the PMS was unblocked succesfully two times after a series of command. Only a case ?

With the Space Shuttle Endeavour launch delayed, Valery Korzun and the Crew will have another week to talk with us from Space.
This morning I spoke with the Commander and he said: '..we will have good possibility to have contact with Hamradio again this week..'
Valery promised us a surprise before his return back home :)

New ISS crew: This shuttle will bring a new replacement crew to ISS this week. The
departing crew is crew #5 and the arriving crew will be crew #6....

The Crew of three will begin living aboard the International Space Station as 6th Crew. The crew includes International Space Station Commander Kennet D. Bowersox (U.S. Astronaut), Nikolai M. Budarin (Russian Cosmonaut) and Donald R. Pettit (U.S. Astronaut) as Flight Engineers.....

Tired of the same old DX ??

Many of us find that there are just some days that there seems to be nothing new to work on the bands. Why not try working something out of this world. By that I mean working the International Space Station. (ISS). Over the years I have always been involved with satellites. Hearing the first Oscar sending its “HI" in Morse code, working through the RS series of satellites, talking with the MIR cosmonauts and now working the crew of the ISS.
