New Two-Ham ISS Crew Makes Human Spaceflight History
There are five Amateur Radio operators aboard the International Space Station this week. The Expedition 6 crew of Commander Ken Bowersox, KD5JBP, NASA ISS Science Officer Don Pettit, KD5MDT, and Nikolai Budarin, RV3FB, today welcomed Expedition 7 crew members Commander Yuri Malenchenko, RK3DUP, and Ed Lu, KC5WKJ.
Expedition Seven Arrives at Station
Two new residents have arrived at the International Space Station. The Soyuz TMA-2 spacecraft linked up to the station this morning as they flew over Kazakhstan in central Asia. The Russian Soyuz docked to the Earth-facing port of the station's Zarya Module at 12:56 a.m. CDT (0556 GMT).

Space veterans Russian cosmonaut Yuri Malenchenko, RK3DUP, and NASA
astronaut Ed Lu, KC5WKJ head into space this weekend to assume the reins of the International Space Station (ISS) as its Expedition 7 crew.

Nikolai Budarin calling CQ from ISS
We have received on the net today a message from Siegfried DD1JSN about a Voice activity from the International Space Station over Europe.
Nikolai Budarin was calling CQ in Russian.

The Expedition Six crewmembers have completed another busy workweek aboard the International Space Station. Their major activity was a spacewalk conducted by Commander Ken Bowersox and NASA ISS Science Officer Don Pettit.
