Expedition 7 Commander Yuri Malenchenko began Wednesday running. He participated in a Russian fitness session, which included a blood test and using the International Space Station's treadmill. NASA ISS Science Officer Ed Lu, who serves as the crew's medical officer, assisted Malenchenko during the session.

Agency Leaders Look to the Future

Space agency leaders from the United States, Europe, Canada, Japan and Russia met Wednesday in Monterey, Calif., to review the status of cooperation on the International Space Station Program.
The meeting participants noted the significant milestone of the 1,000th day of permanent human presence aboard the Space Station.....
