Made my first APRS with the ISS last night (sept. 13) Was very excited about it. A thunder and lightning storm had just started as the pass started. the storm just made it all that much more exciting. Also I received my first APRS message from Mark in Maine via the ISS digi. I was using arrow antenna and VX=8DR HT 5 watts. Thanks to everyone for the useful information on these forums and thanks to all the folks at NASA. 73

I made my frist contact with the ISS on 2010-09-06 23:10 utc FM Mode 144.490Mhz VE2NY

First contact with iss thanks col doug wheelock at 2355utc on 9 1 10 in pennsylvania grid fn21 used elk ant fixed at 20 degree on rotor with the ft8800r the iss pass was at 18 degrees perfect shot thanks again 73 ke3lb

You can watch the Aug. 8th contact with the Scouts at www.spacejamboree.com or on YouTube (search Crew 272, ISS) or http://www.spacejamboree.com/multimedia.php all the contacts are up on that site... Space Jam - 4 Had Scouts from as far away as New Jersey, (they flew in), at 4:12 in the morning in a grass field on the Rantoul IL airport, under the stars, the ISS streaked by (we have a bit of video, we zoomed in a ton), the Scouts chatted with Doug Wheelock, Much Thanks to Doug and all the people that made the contact possible (Charlie and Graham) ARISS, the ARRL Foundation and Crew 272's WB9SA Sat/Comm Station. Space Jam 5 is Aug. 5-7th 2011.
