Finally heard the ISS, NA1SS, Doug making a few contacts as the ISS passed early one evening over the Southeastern USA. I wonder is the crew of the ISS makes a Sked to go on the Air when they are passing the US or do they get the rig fired up only on weekends, Daytime?? Who can tell me when they get on the Air? But, I heard Doug, I hope he heard me,, We might have doubled for my contact... Bob AJ4XP

Many thanks for the contacts! There were 7 hams at the Salt Plains ARC Festival that were able to talk to the ISS on Oct. 9th. We used 4 X 12 elements with AZ and EL and the space station was workable throughout the footprint. You made our hamfest exciting!

Made first 2 meter contact with Doug, KF5BOC, today 10-2-2010 at 1400 CDT. Great signals from ISS. Have been space nut since early 60's. Thanks for opportunity to talk to ISS. 73 and God bless from Eupora, MS.
