Hi to everybody October Monday 29th , I saw the ISS while flying on the sky over Rome. Six minutes of emotions...thinking that inside that shining object there are humans working and living . Really amazing !!! I tried to contact them with my radio amateur equipment but nobody was transmitting from the ISS. This was an invite to try again more several times . Greatings from Rome . We saw the ISS and Dragon earlier this evening. Dragon was about 8 minutes behind ISS and 2 minutes behind the current Heaven-above prediction. They were only about 22 deg above the Southern horizon but Dragon was easy to spot.

With JOTA coming up Oct. 20-21, I was looking to see if we could make a contact with ISS.

I'm not a ham but I have heard the ISS on my scanner and believe me, it is a THRILL to hear astro and cosmonauts talking to the schools. I am in the Albany NY area. I have also watched the station fly by overhead on many occasions and that brings me back to my childhood when my father would take me outside to see ECHO flying by. Keep up the good work and give us a wave when you fly over New York State!
