Good afternoon,

This is a bit of a long shot, but does anyone have a good audio recording of any of the recent SSTV activity from the ISS - the one that had images of Yuri Gagarin.

We are preparing some workshop material for an event that will occur the week before CNS School in Norfolk, UK, contacts Tim Peake.

We plan to run a workshop for youngsters with all sorts of radio-related activity including lighting light bulbs with RF, Morse code, APRS etc.

Soo guys... theres a report on the AMSAT OSCAR page... by F5OTS of SSTV heard from the ISS this Friday... At exactly 16:31 UTC...

Can anyone confirm if there is still an ISS Mailbox/BBS operating and if so what Freq and callsign ?
I recall RS0ISS-11 was operating some time back, but now closed.

Russian and American sources say plans are being made for an SSTV event on January 16th.

www.ariss.org has the following on their front page:

"SSTV Operations Coming Soon!
Planning is underway for a new series of SSTV transmissions from the ISS in celebration of the 15th anniversary of Amateur Radio operations on the ISS. Scheduling for the transmissions from the station in the Russian segment of the ISS on the weekend of January 16 is in process. This series of transmissions will use the PD120 format. Stay tuned for more details!"

ARISS contact planned for school in Civitate, Italy

Wednesday January 13 at approximately 11:35 UTC, an ARISS contact is planned for Scuola Secondaria di Primo Grado "Benedetto Croce", Civate, Italy. ARISS telebridge station VK5ZAI, located in southern Australia, will operate the contact.
