Beam orientation question, or does it really matter?
Although a retired NASA-KSc Systems Eng'r on ISS GN&C and EPS, am attempting to make ISS voice contact and set up a 6-Element (3 VHF + 3 UHF elements) and have it "horizontal", at an elevation of~45 degrees), BUT I need to ask: for ISS (and maybe AO27) is "Horizontal" correct or should it be vertical?
I have placed photos of current setup at my http://pixtoshare.net/IMG_0594s.JPG and http://pixtoshare.net/IMG_0640.JPG and appreciate comment!
