Dr. Shannon Walker Speaks to Students at the St. Louis Charter School on 11 November 2010 at 1810 UTC
Dr. Shannon Walker (NA1SS) speaks to students at the St. Louis Charter School in St. Louis, MO on 11 November 2010 at 1810 UTC. I missed the beginning of the contact, but Dr. Walker answers the following questions in the recording:
4. Do you see space trash very often? If so, what does it look like?
5. What are some jobs you have on board the ISS?
6. For how long have you been in space?
7. When you look out your window, what are some features that you see in space?
8. How does the space shuttle sound and feel once you blast off?

Same "Hams" Making contact every orbit
What's so great about making contact with the ISS on every orbit and trying to make conversation with the crew, all you are
doing is blocking others who have not worked the ISS. I have always made one contact per DX station, got it on tape, sent
for the card and then listened to give others a chance for the contact also. I have done the same with my ISS contacts over
the years. These same people calling every orbit are killing the "Spirit" of ham radio and turning it into CB radio.
