ARISSat-1 and FOX fundraiser
Saw a note about the following on the SAREX reflector
******************
AMSAT is in need of donations to support the completed construction of ARISSat-1, and the beginning of FOX construction and securing a launch. While ARISSat-1 will be launched "for free", AMSAT has incurred significant expense in the design and construction of the satellite. We have had to dip into our reserve funds to finish the project on time. Our next satellite, FOX, is in the development stage and we hope to begin construction and secure a launch soon. Launch costs could exceed $70,000! Please help keep amateur radio in space by donating via our PayPal account today, or join AMSAT as a member at www.amsat.org! Thank you for your support.
