ISS Radio Report
Anyone have a recording of the ISS on the 1448 UTC pass on 3-16-06 ?
I finally made contact with Bill on the ISS today. A few months ago, a friend of mine told me that I could hear the ISS with a HAM radio. I had always wanted to get my HAM license, but never had the time until I found out that I could talk to space! After I heard Bill the first time with a handheld scanner, I hit the books and got my ticket on Feb 18th 2006. Since then, I have tried to listen and catch Bill on voice on just about every pass that I was awake for. This morning I finally did it. He answered me and told me that I was 5X9 and I told him how he had been the driving force for me getting my license. I did manage to record part of this conversation, but if anyone has a recording, it would be GREAT if you could email it to me. Thanks goes out to the webmasters and crew that makes this website possible!
