Hi all, I've really enjoyed browsing this web site over the past few months. I get a thrill out of hearing Bill making contacts with stations all over the place. Unfortunately, I'm at college and the only radio I have available is a 5 watt HT with a rubber ducky antenna. I've tried in vain several times during active passes, but I imagine it's like whispering in the middle of a crowded stadium and expecting the guy down on the field to hear you. Are there any tips or tricks that might boost my chances of making a contact with Bill sometime in the next 4 weeks before he comes home? I've considered buying a handheld 2-meter yagi, but I don't know if it would really help or not.

Just wonder if anyone recorded the March 13 (Monday) 21:30 UTC North America Pass?
