STS-112 MCC Status Report #23
Space Shuttle Atlantis glided to a noontime landing at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida completing a 4.5 million mile journey to outfit the International Space Station with a new section of truss and supplies for the Expedition crew onboard.
STS-112 landed some minutes ago at KSC
Space Shuttle Atlantis STS-112 touched down at Kennedy Space Center, Florida, ending an International Space Station assembly mission. Landing occurred at 10:44 a.m. CDT (1544 GMT), ending the mission at the 11-day, 19-hour, 58-minute mark.
Double Hop Testing Continue
The ARISS team has instructed the Valery to leave the Packet system on 145.825 for an additional week to support the double hop experimentation.
