Packet Radio on ISS Waiting for Approvals

End-to-end testing of the new Kenwood radio is completed. The radioamateur community is waiting for Energia to give its final clearance by December 8, maybe earlier.

ISS Packet

ISS packet was on @ 2250z 18/11/03 on an eastcoast pass off Maine, I hit it twice but, either there is'nt any digis listening or it was to far off shore.
I've hit the station many times in the past while its far off the eastcoast to use the mailbox an worked Bill CU2JL on the Azores via ISS.
Nice to hear some voice an packet again,..soon my friends it will be better then ever with phase II ops coming. 73 all de Mark KB1GVR.

RS0ISS on and off once again

As you probably noted in the last few days the Packet Radio system has been turned on and off again.
Various operators from all over the world reported RS0ISS operating normally for a few hours.
Unfortunately the PMS is now back off the air.
It looks like we still have some problems up there...

Heard list ??? it was on the pass before but still seems like the squelch is set tight.
