ISS Repeater Status by Kenneth N5VHO

ISS Amateur Radio

As some of you have recently commented, the ISS is currently not active. This is not by design and I am currently investigating the source of the problem. I hope to have the radio back up and operational as soon as possible but will have to wait for available crew time to help resolve the
issue.

Hopefully, you will see the ISS return to active operations in the next few days.

Email Via ISS

ISS Amateur Radio

Sending Email via ISS is pretty easy!
Most modern software like UISS, APRS, UI-VIEW etc have the capability of creating a message to a user. This uses UI frames (unproto) via a digipeater to send a "message usually consisting of 1 line. Instead of entering in a callsign you enter EMAIL (all in caps most software already does) as the recipient.....

ISS Amateur Radio

Yesterday I spoke with Sergei Krikalev. He was in Moscow but during this weekend he will fly to Houston again.
Sergei greets all the members of the ISS FanClub but unfortunately, due to the overload work, he hasn't possibility to come here to write directly a message.
