Hi everyone.

Once again ISS Packet radio is off while a good elevation above home.

So, does anyone know what's the matter and why Packet is off one more time ?

And my question announced in the subject is : How can we get live informations about Packet status ? I would like to add a special area dedicated to live ISS packet status to my Website. Does NASA have a RSS flux dedicated to this information ? If not, they should make one.

QB50 CubeSats to deploy from ISS

The first phase of QB50 CubeSats should be deployed from the International Space Station over three days May 16-18

Built by student groups from 23 countries around the world the QB50 constellation aims to study the lower thermosphere 200-380 km above the Earth.

There are 28 QB50 CubeSats on the ISS awaiting deployment and it is understood that 11 will be deployed in this first phase. The beacons should be activated about 30 minutes after deployment.

Since yesterday morning (12-05-2017) we do not hear any more APRS data from ISS. Also impossible to join it.

As anyone experienced the same thing ?

Does anyone have any good information on getting an iPhone (for extreme portability) to successfully connect with the ISS?

I've seen a similar post regarding APRSDroid that has gone unanswered, so I'm not holding my breath for this post. However, it would be nice to know if anyone has managed to get this type of arrangement working.

Not all of us can quite afford to buy a new radio just for APRS/packet work, and shoveling money to fix every challenge is not exactly a "ham" methodology. So I'm trying to make due with what I have until I can afford better equipment.
