we are musicians/artists and are currently working on a piece called 'calling the cosmos' which is all about connecting with space sonically, using spirit radios, field recordings and found sounds. it is conceptual in many ways but we would love to explore the possibility of arranging an actual contact with ISS at a specific time during a live performance - would anyone have any advice on this or know if it would be possible?

Im new to packet here on the ISS. I have UISS setup up with my SignaLink USB with my FT-847, with a m2 2m5wl 17el on 2M. First question is how come when I message people, they usually dont even respond even though I hear my packet being digipeated through? Are they just people using beacons? Also on ARISS.NET, why does it only show 1 packet digipeated through? According to UISS it shows 16 packets digi'd, maybe the SGate dident get it? And any recemmendations for formats for the Packet Messages? What do the -6 mean infront of peoples callsigns?

well it looks like this time is upon us again an end of another ISS Expedition 42/43 will be ending this Thursday after almost 200 days in space making this expedition the second longest so far this expedition has been really exciting so much has happened Samantha has broken the all time record for any European in space and for any woman in space these two expeditions also had a few space walks a progress ATV depature dragon's the one year crew the relocation of the PMM and so much Science it has truly been so fun for me to have watched this flight Samantha's and Terry's tweets were always so
