Can you believe it??? I was going to buy a digital recorder tonight, and don't you know I contacted Col. Doug Wheelock on the ISS. Hoping someone has recording of contact on July 29, at 20:43 utc - my e-mail address is n5jf@att.net... Here's hoping I get Blessed again. You can bet I'll be buying that recorder tonight -HI! QSO Information Exchange
If I am lucky enough to get a random voice contact with ISS, what does protocol dictate I should exchange with the operator there - name, location, grid-square or what? I don't want to hog the frequency with unnecessary info in order to give others a chance.

I Have been at this for about 8 or so weeks and always the same dead quiet for the pass.So here I am with my ham shack door open volume up so I can hear on my deck.I was starting my bbq pit for A nice evening of hamburgers and side,s, my hands black with charcoal .Whats this Na1ss coming in Q5 OMG ran in the radio shack gave out 2 or 3 "this is november five juliett fortrot's" and back comes Col. Doug Wheelock with my call

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had a recording of the pass over Southern California on July29,2010 at 2320 utc. My QTH was Los Alamitos, California. This was my first contact ever with the ISS.. Thanks very much.. K6LPB
