Astronaut Don Pettit looked out the window of the International Space Station earlier this month and saw the full moon setting behind Earth's edge-on atmosphere. Using a handheld digital camera, he captured a rapid-fire sequence of images. The resulting movie reveals a moonset like nothing you've seen on Earth.

PCSAT2 scheduled for flight in September
PCSAT2 is on the air for its 200 hour pre-flight burn in test. Now scheduled for flight on ISS in September, it should be a fun payload.

SpaceCam1 Slow Scan TV project for ISS, Update
The MAREX-NA/ARISS SpaceCam1 SSTV System is an entry-level PC based Slow Scan Television system designed to be used on board the International Space Station. The SpaceCam1 system will support multiple common SSTV transmission modes.
