ISS Radio Report
I watched/listened to the livestream of the contact with the school. The event was very successful however during the first few minutes of the pass it sounded like the ISS could not hear the school although the school could hear the ISS. The person handling the school mic duties (can't remember his callsign) did a great job at keeping his cool. Does anyone know why contact could not be made during the first few minutes of the pass?

what happened to the pass predictions that were on this page?
I apologize, I never noticed there was a bug that I worked around for now. Still need to fix it properly.
This site needs to be rebuilt for scratch but I don't have the time anymore...

what happened to the pass predictions that were on this page?
It works fine here using Internet Explorer 11 with Windows 10.
It does not work with other browsers which only shows the map and position of the ISS with no times etc. in Edge, Chrome and Firefox.

what happened to the pass predictions that were on this page?
Evidently the gov't watchdogs are worried that evildoers will be able to penetrate our top secret comms with ISS and bring down the Trump administration.
-
what happened to the pass predictions that were on this page?
no way - the pass predictions are just math equations using the kepler elements which are publicly available.

what happened to the pass predictions that were on this page?
This site still has it. http://www.amsat.org/track/index.php

what happened to the pass predictions that were on this page?
I remember a while back that several sites that provided on-line pass predictions were told not to by some gov't agency. Maybe somebody has more info on it? Something to do with security classification?

11-14 April SSTV Events and DIPLOMA !
11 to 14 april: Russian SSTV Event to Celebrate Cosmonautics Day
ARISS Russia is planning a special Slow Scan Television (SSTV) event from the International Space Station in celebration of Cosmonautics Day.
The transmissions are to begin on April 11 at 11:30 UTC and run through April 14 ending at 18:20 UTC.
Supporting this event is a computer on the ISS Russian Segment, which stores images that are then transmitted to Earth using amateur radio, specifically the onboard Kenwood TM-D710E transceiver.
Transmitted images will be from the Interkosmos project period of the Soviet space program (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interkosmos
). Images received can be posted and viewed at http://www.spaceflightsoftware.com/ARISS_SSTV/index.php .
The transmissions which were coordinated with the ARISS scheduling team, will be broadcast at 145.800 MHz using the PD-120 SSTV mode.
Please note that the event is dependent on other activities, schedules and crew responsibilities on the ISS and are subject to change at any time.

polarization project antenna
Hi..i would like to add the 4-bay should have the same basic horizontal pattern of the 2-bay but with a more squished vertical pattern at the horizon. If the new antenna is pointing in the exact same spot it should not loose any coverage off to the sides and if anything it should be better.

ICOM 706 137MHz Turnstile 3/4/18 1805
Yes I have been quite surprised how good the Wx Sat antenna works receiving the ISS
Pity I cannot Tx with it as on a later pass I heard a Russian on the ISS call an LZ station and I would have chanced my arm with my limited Russian .

ICOM 706 137MHz Turnstile 3/4/18 1805
I was posting a much noisier image at the same time you posted this. Original file from Robot36 was 820kbytes and therefore too big for the website. Had to shoehorn it into the size limitation.
