My wife, Kim - KJ4TBJ, just watched the ISS fly over at aprox 5:23 pm CST here in Alabama, USA. This was her first time to see the ISS, but about the 30th time for myself. Hope to make voice contact one of these days. I have listened to them before when they were talking with some school children. Also have watched them pass over on APRS, but no direct APRS contact yet.

A spacecraft and ground systems engineer by trade , now retired and getting down to the pleasure of attempting a real world contact with the ISS: with all the other birds in orbit that i have worked on as a very tiny cog in a huge wheel of engineers and scientists: The ISS still takes the biscuit for inginuity, expertise and sheer bravery on the part of the astronauts: god speed fly safe and i WILL be in touch from UK someday

I have been playing with APRS for a while now, I have been using a Yaesu VX8ge & a Scanking Discone antenna, I have mainly worked the high angle passes, I am in the process of making a directional tripod beam antenna, I would love to get a voice contact, although I think it would be hard to find a question that the crew had not already heard a hundred times before.... 73' de M3TZX
