The Italian Amateur Radio Association shuts down the repeater on 145.800 MHz
There is update about the IR3UEF repeater operated by the Italian Amateur Radio Association (ARI, Chioggia Section) and interfering with the main ISS Downloank (145.800 MHz).
Crew Observes Moment of Silence, Prepares for Spacewalk
The Expedition 26 crew aboard the orbiting International Space Station observed the National Moment of Silence Monday in honor of the victims of the Tucson, Arizona shooting Saturday. Those victims include Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, wife of STS-134 Commander Mark Kelly, who is the twin brother of Expedition 26 Commander Scott Kelly.

Mr. Nespoli's voice over Italy during the conference with Italian student's of University of Bari
ARISS contact on 145.800 on the 8th of January 2011 heard over Rome between 12.20 UTC and 12.29 UTC. The station passed over Rome with elevation of 88 degrees from West to East and the signal was very strong on the maximum elevation.
The comunication was captured by IØ327RM with Icom IC-R7000 with aeronautical antenna.
ISS packet
Greetings all from down under. Am wondering if someone would be kind enough to give me the call sign for the current packet operation. I have been unable to locate it possibly because I may not be looking in the right places. I have the freq of course as 145.825 simplex, and believe that to be correct.
Also, have any fan club members within the southern hemisphere (and in partivular ZS,VK, or South American heard any packet. My station ZL1KJ certainly hasnt thats for sure Any help will be gratefully received by this ole 76 yr old operator.. Thanks de Gary ZL1KJ
