hi, downlink from crossband repeater heard again in Scotland on 145.800, sounded quite buisy, strongest stations heard were HFPA 6CC? 41EL DL1 J031OO 32PP didnt realy hear any QSO,s, just sounded hectic. Great to hear the crossband repeater runnning. 6EQUJ5, South West Scotland

Kenwood Internal TNC's and UISS

Greetings all-

I'm running the TS-2000 and the D710 and I have yet to find a TNC setting
in UISS which works with them. The MFJ-1278 will at least function in RX.

Anyone have the answer to this?

hi, downlink from crossband repeater heard in Scotland on 145.800. didnt catch any call signs. this is the first iv heard signals from the crossband repeater in almost 2 years or so of listening to the ISS. Delighted to hear it working. 73,s 6EQUJ5 South West Scotland.

ISS Crossband repeater active

ISS Amateur Radio

A report from 9W2QC from Malaysia indicates the crossband repeater on ISS is currently active. It should stay operational until the unit must be shut down for the undocking operations of the Progress 27 on Feb 4. Frequencies are 437.800 MHz uplink and 145.800 MHz downlink. Keep in mind the extreme Doppler on the uplink and it is highly recommended that you operate full duplex to see if you are making it through or interfering with another station unknowingly.
