Space Shuttle Endeavour to Launch No Earlier Than Nov. 22
The 16th shuttle flight to the International Space Station, STS-113, is
now slated to launch no earlier than Nov. 22 between 6 and 10 p.m. CST
(0000 and 0400 GMT Nov. 23). Friday's decision was made due to launch
conflicts in the Eastern Range.

The Expedition 5 crewmembers - Commander Valery Korzun, NASA ISS Science Officer Peggy Whitson and Flight Engineer Sergei Treschev - spent their 23rd week in space continuing preparations for the arrival of their replacements, the Expedition 6 crew.

With the Space Shuttle Endeavour launch delayed, Valery Korzun and the Crew will have another week to talk with us from Space.
This morning I spoke with the Commander and he said: '..we will have good possibility to have contact with Hamradio again this week..'
Valery promised us a surprise before his return back home :)

We received now words about a new delay about the STS-113 Endeavour launch.

Managers said launch will be occur no earlier than Nov. 18, 2002.

An oxygen line leak inside Space Shuttle Endeavour forced managers to delay the launch of STS-113 by at least 24 hours. They are still assessing the situation and will announce a new launch date later....
