Occassionally

The ISS has transmitted SSTV worldwide in the past but most of the recent activations of SSTV have been tied to a Russian experiment and are targeted for that area of the world. Occasionally they leave the system on beyond that region but not often. The downlink is on 145.80. You can get more info on past operations at http://ariss-sstv.blogspot.com/.

SSTV

Is one to assume that SSTV is dead on the ISS? Is there any reason to dedicate a radio, Yagi, and SignaLink to ISS STV?

Forum Alive? Anyone there?

Does anyone with knowledge of mission specifics contribute to the forum any more? Is there a better place to get information or advice?

Forum Alive ?

Hi Dave

I don't consider SSTV to be "dead" on the ISS although there are some intermittent hardware problems, there have been some pictures received this year, most activity is subject to crew interest and free time so different crews bring different levels of activity to all modes.

N5VHO has the best info and is a regular contributor here.
