Loss of ISS Tracking Module

I am very grateful for this site. I mean no criticism, however, I regret the loss of the ISS Tracking Module. By far that was my favorite aspect / tool on the site. I used the tracking module to organize and plan my listening activities and contact attempts. Frequently a printout of the ISSFanClub tracking page was laid out on the ground with my compass, HT & Arrow Antenna. In short, a valuable and respected tool.

I was quite dismayed to come home from work to quickly check the ISS Fan Club Tracking page only to find it no longer exists. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the small Google globe is a poor substitute. It appears I will have to look elsewhere for ISS tracking support.

Most Respectfully,

Tracking will soon be back

David,

I didn't migrate the Tracking module since the very beginning (and I was reluctant in starting the migration efforts) because frankly I thought that nobody was using it...
Apparently I was wrong: the tracking module is being missed since the very first day, so I have decided to migrate it. It will soon be back in a revised and improved version.

Thank you for your support and feedback

Many thanks!

Alain -

That is good news indeed!

Kudos for an exceptional site, moreover, thank you for the improvements and responsiveness to the users of this site.

Since I found ISS FanClub, it has become a site that I check on daily basis. I have found nothing on par with your site.

Try Orbitron

I use Orbitron ( http://www.stoff.pl/ ) for my tracking. It provides a "radar" plot that shows position in azimuth and elevation. You can make the radar plot full screen so you cn print it out. It does predictions, as well. And its virtually free.

Thank You

Thanks for bring Tracking back, it is one of the best tracking program around for the ISS.

I like the Lat & Long feature as it is easy to see how close the space station is to your location. I wish it could track the rest of the Ham Radio satellites that I use.
