The crew of ISS will get a great view of the upcoming Leonids meteor shower in November

ISS crew 5, was planing on coming home before the shower, however due to schedule changes, Valery and crew and possibly the shuttle STS-113 will all be flying around in space during the next big Meteor Shower. I hope the can see, but not HEAR the meteor shower.

I sent Valery an update on the current meteor shower status, including dates time, etc. Since Valery will be in flight during the Leoinds meteor shower, he is planning on doing some observing. Below is a copy of the message he sent back to Miles.

referring to seeing the meteors, rather getting hit by them.
The Mir station did get a few holes in the solar panels the size
of a quarter after a meteor shower]
