Space News

Hello Fans,

this afternoon (UTC) all Internet lines in Italy were down for a very serious problem. Now seems Telecom technicians in Rome solved the failure so the ISS FanClub is ready again.

PMS message # 867

ISS Amateur Radio

Hello ISS Fans,

Valery sent a message to ALL as a Bulletin this morning. I tried to read it this evening but for a few seconds I was able to receive only the header. During this week 143.625 MHz frequency is used onboard ISS and over Europe we have many problems to operate on the PMS.

I hope to read this message during next pass or maybe there is anyone reading it in the world.

Please send the message as a post and we will publish this Valery's message on the homepage.

Thanks in advance.

Here is a very interesting link found in a comment wrote by an ISS FanClub Member, Russ KA2PGJ.
This is a versatile 3 element 2 meter beam, lightweight, easy to carry and has flexible elements that will bend and then come right back into position.
You can find complete dimensions and a description of how to build this antenna.
