Feb 22 08:04 UTC Dr. Cady Coleman School Contact with Preston North East Primary School, Preston, Victoria, Australia
This was a 10 degree pass for me in Southern Wisconsin, pardon any noise on the recording. Got up to question #7 before loss of signal. KC9QKU
Preston North East Primary School, Preston, Victoria, Australia
Participants will ask as many of the following questions as time allows:
1. How does the ISS move around Earth without an engine?
2. What can you tell us about the 'lotus plant' inspired space gear protection?
3. What happens if there is an emergency onboard the ISS if there are no contacts?

ISS school contact from the Bühl-Realschule in Dornstadt, Germany
Having some severe trouble regarding the weather during the beginning of the contact let us think the contact may fail. Heavy ice fog was present and it was snowing, so an additional, unwanted attenuation of the downlink signal lead to unreadable downlink signals. Other hams reported that Cady Coleman already answered our calls several times before we could hear her talk. In the end we were very lucky to get all of our 20 questions through. :)
