ISS contacts with Hawaii 081019 - Sunday morning HST
Used an old cassette recorder's internal mike to record both speakers (uplink and downlink), my noises, and the dual band rig's female computer voice as ISS made contacts over Hawaii sunday morning. NH6XO
ISS over Hawaii - Saturday morning 081019-0620 HST
Contact with ISS from windward Oahu. Both uplink and downlink from a dual band/dual speakered mobile rig were recorded using the mic input on a doggy old cassette recorder. Contacts right after NH6XO are with the JOTA group on Sand Island, Oahu. Female computer voice is the rig voice.

W5KWQ/Richard - ZS6BTD Phone-Patch regarding SSTV + Radio issues.
W5KWQ/Richard on voice over Johannesburg at 16:40utc, 18 Oct 2008.
He switched from normal freq to another 'channel' for a phone patch via ZS6BTD (Gerald) to discuss issues he has been
having with the SSTV unit, batteries and Radio interface/interworking.
We had a severe weather at the time - lightning, wind, rain etc. Hear the crackles and pops!
It appears Richard had some trouble hearding the phone patch audio properly.
Maybe phone line issues due to the storm ?
Looks like he may need to swop the radio for the spare - currently he needs to use some velcro to secure the
mic interface between the sstv unit and the rig.
