ISS qso on kolkata
hi,
we tried to qso with ISS from kolkata but failed. we four are VU2BPW, VU2SYD, VU3MKX & VU3NVL. we just heard some faint signal. time was utc 1.07.00 May 10.
the downlink was 145.800MHz and uplink we tried was 145.490MHz. Kolkata, India in ITU region 3

145.825 Description:
RS0ISS-4 message recorded and was on the station list. 50 watt tx and j-pole 10 ft off ground.
Passed directly over and was received by ISS on leaving my QTH. I was sending lots of packets and I think the approach had dopier shift that kept ISS from receiving my QTH.
On a earlier pass over Hawaii I logged in several times and this was a ocean path ?
