Suggestion for Calling the ISS
After spending several weeks both monitoring and trying to work Col. Doug Wheelock, I have reached a conclusion that may be helpful to folks who are having trouble establishing contact with NA1SS. Namely, Col. Wheelock seems to latch on to calling stations more frequently when they include their location as opposed to simply giving their callsign only.

QSL my First ISS Contact
Hello all! Now that I have not only been able to copy their transmissions on decent passes overheard but also made a successful contact then can someone please advise how to receive the QSL card? I see the ARRL address. I will include my card with the standard QSL information for the contact. Is it just a standard SASE to be included? Sorry for the simple questions if this is posted elsewhere. I would just want to "do it right the first time".

Progress Undocks
The ISS Progress 38 cargo craft undocked from the aft end of the International Space Station's Zvezda service module Tuesday at 7:22 a.m. EDT. The Expedition 24 crew members had loaded Progress 38 with trash and other discarded items for disposal and burn-up over the Pacific Ocean. The cargo ship will undergo thruster firing tests to gather data for Russian flight controllers before it is deorbited Monday, Sept. 6 to burn up in the Earth’s atmosphere.
The unmanned ISS Progress 39 cargo craft will launch Sept. 8 and automatically dock and resupply the station crew Sept. 10.
