Can someone please ask the ISS to turn on the repeater mode? :-)
Nobody asked me. but...
I know we don't have any say about what mode the ISS places the radios in, but it sure would be nice if they would switch over to repeater so us earth-bound hams could have some QSOs with each other as long as the astronauts aren't using the equipment to talk to us on earth. I haven't heard anything on 145.800 for a couple of weeks now in southern NJ.

about "25th Anniversary Certificate"
I made contact with the ISS in 1-way on 07,JAN,2009 and then sent a QSL card with SASE to USA ARISS for "25th Anniversary Certificate" on 22,JAN,2009.But till now I haven't received response yet. What's up ?

Students from Ulvila Upper Secondary School in Ulvila, Satakunta, Finland have been preparing for an Amateur Radio on the International Space Station (ARISS) contact, scheduled for Friday, April 17 at 07:40 UTC. They have studied physics and astronomy and have researched the ISS. They have written essays and created posters on related subject matter. Students have also learned about amateur radio. Newspaper, radio and television coverage is anticipated.
