New and question.

Hi!!! I'm new to this forum so to ISS radio contact. In fact I will try my first contact tomorrow October 12. My callsign is KJ4EBE.

My question is the next. It is possible to listen the ISS with a handheld and a 5/8 telescopic antenna??? If it is so, what about been received by the ISS ???

Thank you.

Just had a fantastic VISUAL sighting of the sunlit ISS over Kingston Jamaica at 10:01-10:10UTC (05:01 local time). 20 degree max elevation. No matter how many times I see this, it's still awe inspiring!
