Crew Training

ARISS

Astronaut Clay Anderson and cosmonaut Fyodor Yurchikhin recently participated in an Amateur Radio on the International Space Station (ARISS) contact simulation to prepare for school contacts while onboard the ISS. Yurchikhin will fly in April as part of Expedition 15, and Anderson is expected to launch in June.

WIFI on ISS

this may be a little on the wild side, but Iwould like your input I have been reading about homemade wifi connections with homemade antennas reaching over 100 miles with a 30mw signal. this could be interesting on ISS from the fact it would give lots of people that are not hams the capability of maybe joining in the fun. Me and a friend are starting to work on a antenna tomorrow to see what we can do. here are some links too look at.
